A saucy woodpecker in a birch tree

I finished my Valentine’s Day Card and it is in the Etsy shop, as well as here in my very own store!

I thought it would have been done weeks ago, but I was finally visited by covid during the winter holidays…

This time of winter here in North Texas, there are lots of red-bellied woodpeckers flitting around. The card illustration is based on a drawing I did a few years ago as a gift for B. Woodpeckers are one of my favorite birds to see at the feeder.

These cards are individually customized and printed with archival inks on acid free 250gsm 100% cotton art paper Suitable and intended for framing. (They look seriously great!) It’s the perfect valentine’s keepsake.

Thank you to everyone who has purchased some art, or batted ideas around with me, or shared my posts on social media. I am so grateful.

I have many greeting cards and prints in the works. I can’t wait to share. Looking back a year ago, I have really made some things happen in the last year! Nice to see some progress. Huzzah!

I like to make a self-portrait on New Year’s Day.

Here’s me with Covid-19. This is the only drawing I managed while sick. Once I had completed it, I went back to sleep for another few days.
