I’m an artrepreneur now. Or something…

People - some of you probably - are buying my postcards! Thank you. It is so exciting.

It was just a year ago that B told me that for his Christmas gift, he wished to buy some art from my shop. Dear reader, I did not have a shop.

So my present to B would be to stop overthinking things and just launch a dang on-demand shop.

I made that happen and I have been taking steps most every day now for a year towards creating a sustainable art practice. Building a small but mighty gallery of delightful things.

I am so grateful for everyone’s support. Especially B.

Ink drawings of turkeys and Krampus figures laid out on a table

Pushing forward on all the various aspects of launching an art endeavor, and doing it with any consistency, is really tough.

There are so many venues. SO many places where one could be seen or sell or...

It’s easy to find oneself binge-watching television in an attempt to numb the anxiety that comes from trying to maneuver past both the 6 headed monster of overwhelm and the sucking whirlpool of boredom (AKA avoidance and fear.)

So many tasks in this venture are not drawing. So I spent some time today doing that.
